Marie Segal's video Imitating Metal offers a wide variety of projects for the beginner or advanced clayer. By using such products as Pearl-Ex powders and gold leaf, she skillfully transforms ordinary household objects into works of art. She cleverly uses Hershey kiss wrappers and translucent clay to make one of a kind beads and covers a glass jar with "copper" tinted clay.

Her instructions are very clear and complete, taking you from the supply list all the way through buffing and polishing. It's hard to know which project I liked better, the gold leaf switch plate or the vast assortment of shimmering beads. One thing's for sure with Marie Segal's instructions -- you are limited only by your imagination and how much chocolate you are able to eat.
